Phone-A-Thon
Our annual Phone-a-thon for 2009 will be held on two consecutive Sundays, March 1 and March 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baker High School.
Students from Baker High School will be calling area residents to solicit donations. So if your phone rings on one of those evenings, please be sure to answer! A total of $37,816 was raised from last year’s phone-a-thon and we thank you for your generosity.
Moving Up Day Ceremony
Moving Up Day is a Baldwinsville School District tradition wherein the Senior, Junior and Sophomore classes mark the transition from their current class to the next school year. For Seniors this is also an opportunity to receive scholarship awards from the Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation for post high school studies.
The Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation awarded 113 scholarships totaling $124,490 at the Moving Up Day ceremony held on May 23, 2008 at Baker High School. The next Moving Up Day ceremony will be held on May 22, 2009. The ceremony is held outdoors in the Pelcher-Arcaro Stadium (weather permitting).
